Micah and Delana both grew up in strong Christian homes. Those homes ranged from Maryland to Mississippi to Tennessee, but, mostly, they were planted in Alabama. Eventually, their paths crossed at the Ramp in Hamilton, Alabama.
The Ramp is a multifaceted ministry that hosts conferences, leads a school of ministry, plants churches, and more. God used it to profoundly touch both of their lives. For Micah, visiting the Ramp marked a turning point. A dark season of compromise and depression ended, and he stepped into freedom and full surrender to God. For Delana, the Ramp was a catalyst for greater hunger, pursuit, and consecration. They both joined Chosen, the Ramp’s ministry team for developing leaders, and began working with Karen Wheaton, the founder of the Ramp, in 2003.
After their wedding in 2007, Micah and Delana joined the Ramp’s full-time staff, and later its senior leadership team. Along with their administrative responsibilities, they continued to work closely with Karen Wheaton as Micah ministered in the word and Delana ministered in worship.
From 2014 to 2019, Micah served as Director of the Ramp School of Ministry. From 2017 to 2022, Micah and Delana served together as Lead Pastors of Ramp Church Hamilton.
During that time, God began to expand their hearts to embrace a global assignment, including a specific emphasis upon Israel. He then revealed the next step in that global assignment, speaking to them to move to Manchester, United Kingdom. At the beginning of September 2022, Micah and Delana relocated to Manchester where they continue to live and minister with their four children, Jack, Ezra, Evie, and Jonas.
A year after arriving in the United Kingdom, Hamas attacked Israel on October 7th, 2023, the worst day for Jews since the Holocaust. Micah and Delana knew it was time to get directly involved with Israel. Micah then began working with Bishop Robert Stearns and Eagles’ Wings, a ministry based in Buffalo, New York. Micah oversees its pastors network, the Israel Christian Nexus, which builds bridges between Jewish and Christian communities through education, relationship, and advocacy.
